Amy Cull

Amy Cull is an associate at Whaley Estate Litigation practicing exclusively in the areas of Estate, Trust, Capacity, Fiduciary and Power of Attorney Litigation.

Prior to joining Whaley Estate Litigation, Amy summered and articled at a prominent Toronto law firm where she gained valuable experience in a broad array of practice areas, including Estates and Trusts Litigation, General Litigation, Mediation and Alternate Dispute Resolution, Corporate/ Commercial and Corporate Finance/ Securities Law, Real Estate Law and Municipal and Land Use Planning.

After articling, Amy worked closely with a former M.P. and Secretary of State of Asia-Pacific, Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America. Their work together focused on strengthening Canada’s human rights commitments both domestically and abroad. She has volunteered for a number of non-profit organizations, including the Women’s Legal Education and Action Fund (LEAF) and Pro Bono Students Canada’s Family Law Project. At PBSC, she assisted low-income and self-represented litigants with virtually every aspect of the litigation process.

Amy was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009 after obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto in 2008. Prior to law school, Amy obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from York University where she was a member of the Dean’s Honour Roll and maintained a steady spot on the Faculty of Arts Sessional Academic Achievement List for Outstanding Performance. She graduated in the top five percent of the student body.

Amy is an avid runner and is currently training for her second half-marathon.
